At normani OUTDOOR SPORTS, we try to act sustainably with new, sensible manufacturing processes, based on our own priorities and interests. Alongside design and function, sustainability is one of our core values. We have agreed on a modern recycling process with our supplier and system partner in order to recycle the fabrics used for our "Deltana" winter trousers. 100 % from PET bottles. Depending on the size of the trousers, approx. 19 PET bottles are recycled per pair of trousers. The recycled filament is obtained by grinding, washing, melting, repolymerizing, spinning and texturing PET bottles and finally processed into yarn. PET recycling enables us to save resources, reuse waste and avoid the use of fossil raw materials.

All the materials we use are sustainable and skin-friendly, and are obtained in a resource-conserving manner or recycled. We can develop high-performance products and make sure that we use hardly any fossil fuels in production so as not to harm the environment. However, at some point your child will have outgrown their winter trousers and will need the next pair, which in turn required resources to produce. To ensure that the "Deltana" winter trousers fit your child for as long as possible, they are equipped with the "grow out" function at the leg cuffs. This function allows you to extend the inner lining by a few centimeters so that the garment still fits after a growth spurt and can be used for another season. To lengthen the inner lining, look for a red seam on the lower inner lining. These can be removed without hesitation and without causing other undesirable side effects. To keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, we want our products to have a long service life. When the time has come and your child has finally outgrown the pants, we ask you to pass them on. In this way, you can bring joy to others or save money by reselling and at the same time give the garment a "second life".
