In combination with the membrane from 100 % polyurethane membrane and fully taped seams, the jacket offers a high water column of 6.000 mmwhich reliably keeps rain out, while a breathability of 3.000 g/m²/24h ensures that excess heat and moisture can escape, preventing heat build-up and creating a comfortable wearing climate. Found treasures or valuables can be safely stowed in the side pockets with waterproof YKK zippers, and the YKK front zipper allows you and your child to open and close the jacket easily. A flap in front of the front zipper provides additional protection against the wind. Reflectors made of "3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material", which have been attached in several places on the front and back as well as around both arms, ensure safety on the road and make your child more visible at dusk and in the dark. Elastic arm openings ensure a secure fit and freedom of movement at the same time, so that the jacket is not restrictive when playing and climbing. The hood with its elastic inserts, stiff peak and volume adjustment with Velcro fastener offers optimum protection and fit, even in windy weather. Recycled polyester
At normani OUTDOOR SPORTS, we try to act sustainably with priorities and our own interests in mind with new, sensible manufacturing processes. Alongside design and function, sustainability is one of our core values. Together with our supplier and system partner, we have agreed on a modern recycling process to recycle the outer material of the "Sointula" children's rain jacket. 100 % from PET bottles. On average, approx. 7 PET bottles are recycled per jacket. The recycled filament is obtained by grinding, washing, melting, repolymerizing, spinning and texturing PET bottles and finally processed into yarn. PET recycling enables us to save resources, reuse waste and avoid the use of fossil raw materials.

Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)

At normani OUTDOOR SPORTS, we are committed to ensuring that our products are not only functional, but are also manufactured ethically and fairly. That's why our children's rain trousers "Thurlow" were produced in a BSCI-certified factory. The BSCI certificate stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative and comprises various standards and principles that ensure that working conditions in the factories are fair and humane. These include the prohibition of child labour, the guarantee of appropriate wages and working hours, safety in the workplace and the right to unionize and bargain collectively. By producing in a BSCI-certified factory, we can ensure that our products are manufactured in compliance with these social and ethical standards.

PFC free
Sustainability is particularly important to us in the production of our children's rainwear. Therefore, non-biodegradable, harmful phthalates (plasticizers) are completely avoided. We do not use perfluorinated and fluorinated chemicals (PFCs). These do not decompose on their own, are released into the environment when clothes are washed and affect the hormone systems of many living organisms.
