In both cases, the natural fiber offers optimum performance. The 200 g/m² grammage covers a wide range of temperatures. Warming in icy winter temperatures and slightly cooling in late spring, with the onset of the first warm summer days. In all scenarios, the trousers feel soft against the skin and are not itchy. No pinching, no chafing, no skin irritation. Flatlock seams, a gusseted crotch, an elastic comfort waistband with characteristic logo lettering as a subtle eye-catcher and an ergonomic cut are the basis for a perfect first layer of clothing for climbing, speed hiking, hiking or any movement-intensive activities. Top moisture management and temperature-regulating properties ensure a comfortable temperature. The merino fiber is odorless. Unpleasant odors are hardly absorbed during hikes lasting several days, long periods of sitting while traveling or overtime at the office. Odor-resistant, antibacterial and uncomplicated, the underpants can be washed by hand on the Biwacktour and can also be worn for more than one day with a pleasant body climate. Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)

Animal welfare is particularly important to us in the production of our merino wool. For this reason, we only choose RWS-certified merino wool for our production. However, the seal not only certifies the sheep's wool itself, but also the entire supply chain. The seal certifies both fair working conditions and payments for their employees, the renunciation of exploitation and child labor, as well as standards for the sheep kept. These standards include constant access to clean drinking water and sufficient age-specific feed, checking the physical condition of the sheep, good air exchange in the barn, no branding and strict requirements for castration and stunning. Most importantly, RWS certified merino wool is mulesing free. Which means that the painful procedure to remove embedded fly larvae is omitted.

OEKO-Tex

OEKO-Tex certification stands for strict environmental and social standards. This means that our merino wool has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for both the wearer and the environment. The seal confirms that the merino underwear does not contain any harmful chemicals that could cause skin irritation or allergies. Another important aspect is the durability and ease of care of OEKO-Tex certified merino wool. Due to its high quality and careful processing, it is more resistant to wear and tear and can withstand frequent washing and wearing better than inferior wools. This also ensures a smaller ecological footprint, as new clothes need to be bought less often.

Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)
