The "Amazonas" mosquito net offers optimum protection against flies, mosquitoes and other pests when traveling and at home. Insects cannot penetrate through the fine-mesh fabric. Protection against bites is particularly important in subtropical and tropical areas where dangerous diseases such as malaria or dengue fever are present. The "Amazonas" mosquito net is therefore an indispensable companion in swampy and damp areas.
The mesh density of 280 holes per square inch protects against all common disease vectors, but still provides enough air circulation to prevent heat trapping. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 156 holes per square inch are sufficient for malaria prophylaxis. The metal ring supplied to stretch the mosquito net is flexible and can be easily folded for transportation. Thanks to the pyramid shape, the net only needs one suspension point. The mounting material (screw hooks and dowels) is supplied. Thanks to its small pack size, low weight and sturdy carrying bag, the mosquito net is easy to stow away.
