The first snow makes children's eyes light up and they rush headlong outside. Our lined "Saanich" children's rain trousers ensure unrestricted fun in the fresh air, even in snow and ice. Thanks to the polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane membranes, the trousers provide reliable protection against moisture without overheating. Apart from the membrane, the sealed seams also provide additional protection against water penetration. This gives the rain trousers a water column of 6.000 mm and a breathability of 3.000 g/m² per 24h. The combination of Rip Stop fabric and polyamide in the outer material not only looks good, the robust polyamide was deliberately used on the leg cuffs, seat and knee areas, as these areas are subject to particular stress when running around. This means that the fabric can easily withstand the next snowman building session, even at the knees. In addition, the design of the material combination with the different colors ensures an appealing and child-friendly look. Additional warmth is provided by the 80 g/m² polyester lining. This means that snowmen and -castles can be built, or the hill in the neighborhood can be raced down with the sledge. The elastic waistband ensures an ideal fit and does not restrict you when running or climbing. For an even better fit, the inside of the waistband has an elasticated band that can be adjusted as required using buttons. The inside of the leg cuffs is equipped with an additional snow guard, which is also elasticated at the end. Thanks to its rubber coating on the inside, the snow skirt does not slip and also keeps you reliably dry.

3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material reflectors

The curved, reflective stripes on the front and back, as well as our reflective logo print, are not only visually appealing, they also ensure early recognition at dusk and thus protect your child through better visibility. The attached reflectors are reflectors made from 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material.

"Grow out" function

The longevity of our products is particularly important to us. We therefore try to design our products so that they can be used by you for as long as possible. For this reason, our children's rain trousers "Saanich" are equipped with our "Grow out" function. This feature allows you to extend the inner lining and outer material by a few centimeters so that the pants still fit after a growth spurt and can be used for another season. To lengthen the inner lining, pull out the snow skirt and look for a colorful seam. To lengthen the upper, look out for a colorful seam on the inside of the leg hem. These seams can be removed without hesitation and without causing other undesirable side effects.

Global Recycled Standard

At normani OUTDOOR SPORTS, we try to act sustainably with new, sensible manufacturing processes based on our own priorities and interests. Alongside design and function, sustainability is one of our core values. We have agreed on a modern recycling process with our supplier and system partner in order to recycle the fabrics used for our "Saanich" rain trousers. 100 % from PET bottles. On average, approx. 26 PET bottles are recycled per pair of trousers. The recycled filament is obtained by grinding, washing, melting, repolymerizing, spinning and texturing PET bottles and finally processed into yarn. PET recycling enables us to save resources, reuse waste and avoid the use of fossil raw materials.

The BSCI certificate stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative and comprises various standards and principles that ensure that working conditions in the factories are fair and humane. These include the prohibition of child labour, the guarantee of appropriate wages and working hours, safety in the workplace and the right to unionize and bargain collectively. By producing in a BSCI-certified factory, we can ensure that our products are manufactured in compliance with these social and ethical standards.
