The SolarDef material has a sun protection factor of 50+. The base fabric is a tear-resistant, hard-wearing polyamide material. The material thickness and the fine weave of the fabric generate a sun protection factor of 50+ and allow less than 2% of harmful UV rays to penetrate the fabric. This allows you to reduce your time in the exposed sun by 50-times longer. The strict Australian-New Zealand standard AZ/NZS 4399:1996 is also fulfilled. The material is manufactured free of harmful fluorocarbons (PFC).
