Whether out in the playground with friends, on the bike or on the daily walk to school, the rain jacket is guaranteed to keep the upper body dry. The hard-wearing, dirt-resistant 300T polyester material with taped seams is completely waterproof and windproof. The high collar and elasticated hood with Velcro fastening provide additional protection for your neck and head. Refreshing air circulation is not neglected during sporting activities. The moisture-regulating fleece lining extends to the inside of the arms and draws moisture and perspiration away from the body so that the jacket does not stick to the body. Even on colder days with light snowfall, the soft fleece lining has a pleasantly warming effect. There are two ventilation slits on the back to ensure sufficient air circulation. The softshell jacket can therefore be worn all year round, whatever the weather. It doesn't weigh much, is breathable, can be packed away small in the transport bag and has elastic arm openings. The two patch pockets can be used to store one or two finds, but there is also room for cold hands. To ensure that the main zipper and individual pockets are easy to open and close for you and your children, we only use branded zippers from SBS in the production of our children's rain jackets. SBS is one of the world's largest producers of zippers, which are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.

Recycled polyester
At normani OUTDOOR SPORTS, we try to act sustainably with priorities and our own interests in mind with new, sensible manufacturing processes. Alongside design and function, sustainability is one of our core values. We have agreed on a modern recycling process with our supplier and system partner in order to recycle all the fabrics used in our "Taunton" children's rain jacket. 100 % from PET bottles. Depending on the size of the jacket, approx. 11 PET bottles are recycled per jacket. The recycled filament is obtained by grinding, washing, melting, repolymerizing, spinning and texturing PET bottles and finally processed into yarn. PET recycling enables us to save resources, reuse waste and avoid the use of fossil raw materials.

Maximum security: 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material
Reflective "3M Scotchlite Reflective Material" elements are attached to the front and back in a triangular shape to attract attention at dusk, in the dark or in poor visibility conditions, on the bike, in traffic or on the daily way to school. With these reflectors, you are recognized early and protected from dangerous situations. The reflector element is positioned lower in the back of the jacket so that it is not covered when carrying a school backpack or satchel and can be sufficiently illuminated.

OEKO-Tex Standard 100
The OEKO-Tex certification stands for strict environmental and social standards. This means that our rainwear for children has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for both the wearer and the environment. The seal confirms that no harmful chemicals such as heavy metals, pesticides or allergenic dyes are contained in the clothing. In addition, OEKO-Tex certification also stands for environmentally friendly production processes that use fewer harmful substances and resources.

PFC free
Sustainability is particularly important to us in the production of our children's rainwear. Therefore, non-biodegradable, harmful phthalates (plasticizers) are completely avoided. We do not use perfluorinated and fluorinated chemicals (PFCs). These do not decompose on their own, are released into the environment when clothes are washed and affect the hormone systems of many living organisms.
